This Quartz specimen pieces would be considered Lodolite Quartz however, they have very unique and rare properties that set them apart from the common Quartz varieties. These specimens have been shocked by impact via meteorite/bolide, lightning, or volcanic activity. These particular specimens have the following quartz varieties and mineral gemstone inclusions:
Amethyst quartz / Citrine quartz / Rose quartz / Prism quartz / Clear quartz / Amicite / Carrollite / Melilite (United States(AZ,MI,NJ, MID-WEST), Mid Atlantic Ridge, Italy, Germany) / Djurleite (United States(PA,NC,NY, AK), Mid Atlantic Ridge, Argentina, Spain) / Papagoite (Arizona, Africa, Slovakia) / Ajoite (Arizona, Africa, Slovakia) / Borite / Graphite / Micro Diamonds / Tangeite (Western United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Africa) / Stishovite (caused by meteorite impact) / Unidentified minerals
How did all these minerals get into these Specimens? Well, through research and testing, we believe these are what is called ‘Shocked or Meteorite Impact’ Quartz, we are still researching this to find out more.
