This is a beautiful piece. It is a very well preserved Mother of Pearl Clam shell. I took pictures in different lighting to show its changes in color dependent on the lighting used. The profile pic is in natural light, the sunset hues are caused by LED lighting, and the darker purple hues were from the flash of the camera in shade. Not sure if this shell is top or bottom. Diameter is approximately 9".
